#32 Alex Brown, Mr. Smilely as I like to think of him. He
was another one of these players that don't just sign
your ball or photo, he actually talks with you. Which is
nice after having to stand in line waiting for your turn.
This is after Oscar from Bustos
tattooed his signature.
Me and Alex Brown
#33 Brian Urlacher and #34 Jerry Azumah, I was lucky
enough to be invited to a golf outing for one our truck
companies that we ship our freight with (Custom
Companies). The outing was for their big customers in
which were not, but my sales rep. for Custom Jon knew
how big a fan I was so he pulled some stings and I was
invited. Now I don't golf so I was Just hanging around
the club house waiting for Brian to show up. When his
brother Casey pulled up, Every one thought it was
Brian so I got a big laugh when they all scrambled to
find something for him to sign.
When Brian did show up, it was now time for dinner so
I sat there just 2 tables away waiting for him to finish
his meal  (it seemed like days!) So when It was time for
him to sign some autographs for the crowd. Everyone
at my table got up to watch him sign me. Since he is
one of the more popular players, I decided to have him
sign my arm.
Brian Urlacher! Yes!!!!!
I'm showing Brian were to sign me
When I asked him to sign my arm he gave me a weird
look, so I turned around and showed him my back. I
wish I had eyes in the back of my head because the
guys at my table said his jaw dropped when he saw it.
But the part I like was when he says Ok I heard about
you  (Brian Urlacher Heard about Me!!!) After he signed
me he tells me to stick around that Jerry Azumah is
going to make a surprise visit.
Tattooed for life!!!
Jerry Azumah leaving his mark
So I stuck around for Jerry. When he showed up, Brian
waved me over from my table to show Jerry my back. I
had Jerry sign my chest since my back is pretty full.
34 signatures and 2 more Bear tattoos in less than 7
months can be very expensive, so now that my savings
account is gone. I came up with the Idea of getting
sponsors to help me cover some of the costs. And so
far its working, Ketchman/Wolf Assoc. Inc. Paid for my
entrance fee into Steve McMichael"s 1st. Annual Golf
outing in which a few of the 85 Bears were going to be
playing in. The guys that did show up, I already had.
But it wasn't a waist of time because I did get to meet
#35 Ronnie Bull, Who made the outing a succes by
becoming my 35 tattoo.
Ronnie Bull signing my chest, Notice the guy
with the white hat on in the background just
above Ronnies hat
Yes, It's Mongo Boy can he
still move!!!
#36 Da Coach Mike Ditka,  It's 6.00 o'clock on Sunday
night, I just got home from Bustos Tattoo shop boy am
I still on cloud 9. Getting Mike Ditka to sign my head
was something that I didn't think was going to ever
happen. But Yes a dream come true it was.
I headed out around 8 o'clock in the morning to head
down to Mike Ditkas  Annual Hall of Fame autograph
show it took me 45 minutes to get here which I thought
was going to be early enough to get me a good spot in
line. Since Da Coach wasn't going to be there intill 11,
Lucky I did because there were at least 50 or 60 people
in line already and half of them had registered ahead of
time. So after paying the entrance fee and waiting in
another line to buy autograph tickets. I was all set to
enter the autograph  signing area
Now all that went pretty quick because it was only
9.45, Gale Sayers was to start signing at 10 so just
about everyone in the room was standing in his line,
so I just passed his line up and went straight to the
coaches line, which hadn't started to form yet so YES! I
was the first one in line.
